A message from Hannah’s friends and family

If you met Hannah, you would never forget her. She made a lasting impression with her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, and those famously long eyelashes that seemed to flutter with every laugh.

She could light up the darkest room and bring warmth and joy to those around her.Hannah valued love, family, and friendship above all else, and she gave her heart generously to the people she cared about.

She was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, girlfriend, friend, student, and colleague – a caring young woman who had her whole future ahead of her.

Just as she was beginning the next chapter of her life as an adult, that future was tragically cut short.

Though her time with us was far too brief, the love she shared and the impact she had on so many lives will never be forgotten.

Hannah’s story

After being diagnosed with a peanut allergy at the age of thirteen, Hannah learned to manage her condition independently. She was responsible, vigilant, and confident in asking about foods and their ingredients to help keep herself safe.

On 13 July 2026, while enjoying a wonderful family holiday on the Greek island of Naxos with her parents and sister, Emily, Hannah unknowingly ingested peanut paste.

Despite taking every precaution, administering her EpiPen at the first sign of a reaction, arriving at hospital within 20 minutes, and receiving a second dose of adrenaline, Hannah could not be saved. She passed away within 90 minutes.”In a single day, Hannah’s life ended, and ours changed forever in ways we could never have imagined. There are no words that can truly describe the pain of losing a beloved child. Hannah lives on in our hearts, our memories, and in the love she brought to everyone who knew her”.

Hannah’s colleagues and friends at Coles Currambine are fundraising in her memory. All funds raised will go to Allergy Support Hub, a charity based in Western Australia that provides vital support services for people living with allergies and their families.

In addition, join Coles Currambine this Saturday 31 October from 10am for a sausage sizzle fundraiser, with all proceeds going straight to Allergy Support Hub.
